The CALSIBA project (Sines-Badajoz Logistics Atlantic Corridor) is a cross-border cooperation project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EP-INTERREG VA Spain-Portugal (POCTEP), which promotes the development of the border areas of Spain and Portugal.

The CALSIBA project (Sines-Badajoz Logistics Atlantic Corridor) is a cross-border cooperation project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EP-INTERREG VA Spain-Portugal (POCTEP), which promotes the development of the border areas of Spain and Portugal.
The CALSIBA project (Sines-Badajoz Logistics Atlantic Corridor) is a cross-border cooperation project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EP-INTERREG VA Spain-Portugal (POCTEP), which promotes the development of the border areas of Spain and Portugal.
The objective of the project is to improve interoperability in the logistics corridor between Sines-Badajoz, which is part of the Atlantic Corridor (EU TEN-T network), through the development and application of ICTs, supporting the competitiveness of cross-border companies to achieve the reduction of administrative burdens, the simplification of customs procedures and the dynamization of the logistics chain, implementing an innovative solutions in the transport of goods.
It is also intended, for the sake of administrative simplification and application of innovative improvements in the field of IT, to implement the JUL (Janela Unica Logística de Portugal) in coordination with the SIMPLE Technological Platform (Simplification of Processes for the improvement of Logistics in Spain) in the Sines-Badajoz corridor. This measure, among other issues, will make it possible to carry out the necessary actions for the implementation of the new Union Customs Code (CAU).
